Kom­pli­zierte Sach­ver­halte ein­fach und ver­ständ­lich auf­zu­be­rei­ten, bedarf gro­ßer Sach­kom­pe­tenz und ver­langt nach mehr, als dem erfah­re­nen Schrei­ber, der die fünf jour­na­lis­ti­schen „Ws“ beherrscht. Erklä­run­gen wie sol­che, um was es eigent­lich genau bei Nach­hal­tig­keit geht, dür­fen nur eine Fin­ger­übung sein. Ist das gefor­derte Know-how vor­han­den, geht es um die Indi­vi­dua­li­sie­rung des Berichts. Jeder gute Report erfor­dert neben der Dar­stel­lung von Daten und Fak­ten auch eine per­sön­li­che Note: Aus dem Bericht sollte klar und deut­lich her­vor­ge­hen, was ein Unter­neh­men oder eine Orga­ni­sa­tion ein­zig­ar­tig macht und wieso es sich von sei­nen Wett­be­wer­bern unter­schei­det.

HAMBORNER REIT AG is a listed joint stock com­pany which is posi­tio­ned as a port­fo­lio hol­der for highly pro­fi­ta­ble com­mer­cial pro­per­ties. Based on the gui­de­li­nes of Glo­bal Reporting Initia­tive (GRI), and in asso­cia­tion with RUECKERCONSULT, Ber­lin, we desi­gned the sustai­na­bi­lity per­for­mance of the com­pany in a way, that it is trans­pa­rent and com­pa­ra­ble for all sta­ke­hol­ders invol­ved. The reward: the initial report is in accord­ance with the requi­re­ments of app­li­ca­tion level C accord­ing to GRI.

By publi­shing the first sustai­na­bi­lity report in 2012, the Ber­lin-based hou­sing com­pany GSW was the first com­pany to go one step fur­t­her, reporting from all areas of sustai­na­bi­lity: trans­pa­rent and com­pa­ra­ble accord­ing to GRI (Glo­bal Reporting Initia­tive).

Toge­ther with RUECKERCONSULT, Ber­lin, we have pla­ced examp­les and key per­for­mance indi­ca­tors in the focus of the level C report.
